Our Home for Dinner program provides delicious homemade meals to families staying at the House. Perfect for those who enjoy cooking, this group activity is a volunteer opportunity and donation all in one!
Each group of up to eight people plans, purchases ingredients and prepares a meal for our families. Meals are made in our in-House kitchen and all cooking tools are provided. For our families, this eases the burden of preparing a meal after a long day at the hospital and provides some much-needed time to rest and recharge. Both dinner and brunch time slots are available.
To inquire about available dates, please contact our Coordinator of Volunteer and Recreation Programs. Please note that a representative from every new dinner group must attend a Home for Dinner Orientation. Not interested in cooking? Contact us to purchase a meal for delivery.
If you are interested in learning more or applying for a volunteer opportunity listed above, please email our Coordinator of Volunteer and Recreation Programs or call 403-340-2007 ext. 109.
